I just installed the game and i keep getting a error that says "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect." i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game several times.

GOG has been removing support for Windows XP and Vista and done things to their installer and added Galaxy support and such that do not work with any Windows pre-7.

Modify it to remove Galaxy dependencies might work.
