Do any of you folks know where FW stashes its saved games / profiles? I sometimes play on my laptop, and sometimes on my desktop, and I'd like to snyc up the saved games. The profiles folder for Elven Legacy wasn't too hard to find, but FW is quite elusive!
For my retail copy of Fantasy Wars (running under WinXP) the saves were located in Program Files>1C Company>Fantasy Wars>Profiles. For the GOG version you probably only have to replace "1C Company" with the "GOG.com" folder in Program Files. Of course, if you're using Vista or Win7 things may be completely different.

Yeah, I can find the GOG folder and the Fantasy Wars folder within it, but there's no Profiles subfolder. I have view invisible turned on, so it's not that... anyone?
What OS is it ?
If it's Vista or Win7 try to look in
C:\users\<your_username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramFiles\GOG.com\FantasyWars
If you're on a 64 bit OS replace ProgramFiles with ProgramFiles (x86)

A-HA! I would have never thought to look inside \VirtualStore\. Found! Thanks, Namur.
