Just bought and downloaded, trying to run this on a Vista machine with DirectX 11. Crashes right after the InoCo blurb that comes up (after the splash screen and then the 1C blurb). Anyone else gotten this thing to work on a Vista machine, or is it just hopeless? Thanks for any thoughts!

Have you tried running it as administrator and messing around with the Operating system compatibility settings?
To do so just right click the games shortcut, go to properties and then the compatibility tab. tick the run as administrator box and then try windows xp compatibility.
Another thing is do you have directx 9 installed on that machine or did you let the game install its own directx version?

Thanks for the suggestions, stilll not working unfortunately. I've tried various account settings and emulations as you suggested, and even went out and downloaded/installed DirectX 9.0 (keeping my fingers crossed it wouldn't mess up my more recent games). Got an ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT card in there, which should be fine. Any other thoughts out there, or anyone else had success running this game under Vista? Thanks!
