I got F3 running on W10 Pro by just adding script extender to it. I then started adding mods one at a time but no script extender mods, and got it up to twenty mods now. Really wanted Brisa Almodovar but no go. Can't even run stutter remover without it freezing.

Like I said before, NV stutter Remover is broken by the Falls Creator Update on Windows 10. So it is better to not use it until it is fixed (it can cause more stutter than without it and can cause freezes and crashes).

Hope it is fixed soon.
NV stutter remover works fine for me on New Vegas. Stutter remover for FO3 doesn't work for me. Like any FOSE dependent mod.
As an update to my particular lag/stutter/"churp" problem - I found out how to fix it by accident.

I was following the instructions of Gog Support and loading DirectX 9 and then installing a codec pack etc but none of it worked and the lag/stutter began again as soon as I opened the door to the Atrium - just as before. Then I remembered reading that it might be a problem associated with the PIP radio sound. I brought up the PIP thing, clicked the radio button and tuned to Vault 101 PA system. Immediately the lag stopped and everything was smooth again. When I got outside to the wasteland the "churp" and the lag/stutter was back but I tuned the radio to the Enclave Radio channel and all was fine again.
Obviously this is a problem with how some machines (not just win 10 machines) handle the radio sound and it's an old problem.
Anyway, that's how to work around it.

Fallout 3 now runs fine on my win 10 64 bit machine.
might pay you to look at the Nexus forums 4Gpatch etc,Bitlocker can interfere with games and get rid of Game booster on W10

Or you could try the Tale of 2 Wastlands mod,not sure if it's finished though
Up to level 21 now and have had only one freeze. Running Updated Unofficial Patch and about 40 mods from Nexus. No problems with latest updates to W10 and running 359.06 NVidia drivers. 980TI and 4790K cpu. Did have to limit frames to 60 on a GSync monitor. Stuff on shelves in my Megaton house were jiggling a little bit. Nothing really moved though. People on Steam are moaning about the game freezing, crashing, etc. Thanks GOG.

My fallout 3 goty was working fine on vista x64 before christmas and for for about 3 weeks on win 8.1 pro x64 during and just after, but now on win 10 pro x64 i found some old saves i wanted to keep so slipped them in the folder (before i ran it for the first time on win 10)

when i launched, (the launcher works fine) i get a message that the program may not work on this version of windows and when i click learn more, it takes me to a gfwl download (save file etc) ????, i didn't download it as the gog version doesn't use it, (i clicked cancel), anyway the screen turns black with the egg timer for a few seconds, then i get the program has stopped working message

i tried all compatibility options but with no joy, any ideas anybody

Edit:i did some googling and read that old saves may create problems, unfortunately they synced first so now i'm stuck with them anyway lol

Had another freeze at level 23. It is due to the Essential Player mod. Pretty sure the other freeze also happened when I died. So I guess don't die or pay better attention to health. I have died a few times with no problems, maybe the crash is dependent on how much is going on around me when I die.
