I just don't understand, luck is always against me. On the day I was gonna pick it up during the summer sale it went off. And the last time it was on sale was the week before I joined.

WHY GOG WHY I JUST WANT THE FALLOUT GAMES FOR 5 DOLLARS

I'm in a similar boat, I was going to wait until the last day of the sale to make sure there was no Interplay bundle, now Interplay's out of the sale altogether. Why end the sale for these games halfway through?

I immediately thought of Fallout 2 when I heard about GoG's sale - I show up to find it no longer on sale. $5 is a beautiful price for this game - it's definitely worth $10, but $5 makes it so much more affordable.

Damn you GoG. I might just eat Ramen for the next week so I can buy it, regardless of whether it goes back on sale.

Interplay raised the price late last year. You needed to pick them up on sale before that, they were like $2 each.

Tried looking for the White Label DVD bundle? It contains Fallout 1,2 and Tactics. Amazon should have it at a reasonable price.

That;s the great thing, I have the physical copies. It's just nice to have it on GOG so I can be sure i'll have it in the future, which is why there is no way in hell I'm buying them full price

I -would- pick that up from Amazon, but I like giving GoG my business. If I have the choice, I'd rather go with GoG, simply because I want to support them - I love what they do for us fans of these older games.

I'd still really like to know why they were removed from the sale halfway through.

They mentionned it when they launched the sale : "There are some games that will only be on sale for a week. We'll be letting you guys know well in advance of those titles that they're almost done with the sale." Now for the reason behind this ? Probably the same that led Interplay to raise the price from 5.99 to 9.99...

Well for what it's worth these games are worth paying full price. I bought FO1 from the GOG site and after playing through the game five or six times now I definitely think I've gotten my money's worth. FO2 is pretty awesome too :-)
