Man this game turn the more harder route, I made a character dedicated to small guns, but in the beginning I don't start with firearms so after playing around a bit I got the pipe rifle but I really rather have a better gun like a 10mm Pistol also I am low on money so basicallly I need better weapons and more ammo, so any places I can get a better gun for free and safe to get the gun?
You can find a 10mm pistol in the tunnels underneath Klamath.
You can find guns, ammos and armors in Golgotha, you just need a shovel. The bad part is that you'll be a grave digger.

I tend to dig graves every game - even if going as a "good" character it doesn't really change much, at least not that I've noticed. Gives you some more dialog options in a few very select places though (that info's in the guide as well AFAIK).

Also as the linked-to guide above says, best bet for guns is random encounters. OK you said "safe" so might not be best option, but if you get lucky you can encounter two groups fighting each other (they'll tend to leave you alone unless they hate you, and even then they'll probably ignore you till the other opponents are dead). You might be able to loot the bodies without getting attacked and get some killer guns that way (with ammo of course), plus cash etc.

Personally I just play the early game through in logical order, and by the time I've finished the Den (third town you find out about IIRC), you'll have better weapons. From then on you'll likely have ridiculous amounts of cash too, so much so the game can easily become massively easy all of a sudden. That happens to me anyway.

I also reckon it's worth getting Sulik ASAP and let him do the hand-to-hand stuff while you stay back until you get better ranged weapons. I tend to always play a "small guns" char too (no melee or unarmed tags), so combat in the first few towns can be a bit tedious, but Sulik makes short work of anything and he can absorb lots of damage.
Yeah, you receive small punishment for it. It's similar to stealing money in Modoc's well, your Karma suffers a little. It's funny that you lose 70 Karma for lying to Torr, but -5 for stealing a grave.

Another Question, I already have the GECK only to find my village destroyed and now with that weight out of the way I am free to do whatever I want. But why is it my character is still asking where is the GECK as if he is still finding it?

Is it a bug?

Now, that you have the GECK you are "off leash" so to speak. You are expected to go rescue your villagers, but that can be whenever you want. Actually you don't even need to rush to get the GECK, it makes no difference at all whether you grab it right away or wait several in game years.

There Chosen One is not supposed to get GECK related dialogue options after solving that quest. But the whole game is riddled with bugs so it does happen.
It's beneficial, at least. If the dialogue options disappear, as Elmofongo wants, you wouldn't be able to save Modoc, because you need to ask about G.E.C.K. to Jo if you want to do this quest.

I already solve the probelm between Modoc and Ghost Town when I was still looking for the GECK.
In non-linear games like this, people don't do quests in the same order. You can edit the messages and put whatever you want, if that annoys you too much.
