And whichever version it is, would I want to installed the 1.21 fix patch and then the hires patch, or the other way?

Also, will the 1.21 teamx patch work properly? I notice it has a creatures folder in the data folder, whereas the gog version just has a creatures.dat file in the main directory.

Fallout v1.1 (Censored). First apply team X patch, then high-res. To your last question: I installed this patch and didn't had problems.
