I bought and downloaded the GOG version of Fallout 3 after buying it on steam and refunding it because it had the same issue. I am tired of refunding and just want to play the game. Whenever I launch the game it starts off perfectly fine and the starting menu comes up, but when I click "yes" to start a new game I immediately crash. Its the same issue I had with the steam version. Does anyone know any fixes for this?

If there aren't any fixes, what is the process for refunding the game?

If you are using an integrated video chip (Such as Intel Graphics) probably that is the source of your problem.
