Hey everyone, I've got an issue with Fallout 2 and I have no idea how to solve it. It's the exact same problem as that guy: https://www.gog.com/forum/fallout_series/fallout_2_modded_and_sound_issues
Basically, the game's sound is laggy (and the "War never changes" intro often freezes for relatively long periods of time), except when I do some specific things. Namely, if I pause the game, scroll on the sides of the screen with the mouse, go in my inventory or move my cursor over the interface at the bottom, everything is well, but as soon as I put my cursor on the main screen itself, the sound gets unbearably choppy.
I should mention that I'm playing with the Restoration Project. Now it's not my first time doing that, but I've never had that problem before. I've not made the mistake of installing the unofficial patch over the RP or anything, it's just the RP right now. Does anyone have any idea of what might be the issue?
EDIT: So I reinstalled the game, and as I suspected, it does it even without the RP.
EDIT 2: I installed the Steam version, and it works perfectly well, so I guess it has something to do with the GoG version specifically.
