In the vanilla Fallout 2 you are able to quit conversation by pressing "0". But now I can no longer do that.

It's been a logn time since I played F2 vanilla.
Try using "Esc"cape.

I don't remember being able to do that in Fallout 2 vanilla.

You definitely can in Fallout 1 as '0' was left in as a convenience for debugging, hence it could create strange dialogue outcomes.

If you really need to exit, Alt+F4 will still bring up the prompt to quit.

Hi.
This is easy to fix.
Go to ddraw.ini (in the same folder where fallout2.exe is located) and open it with notepad:
Search for [Misc] and add this line

;Prevents you from using 0 to escape from dialogue at any time.
DialogueFix=0


Save the file.
