I'm not exactly what you would call an older gamer. And I'm not exactly a fan of low graphic isometric view games. Until now. Fallout 2 is just absolutely perfect. It's got a great storyline, an open ended world, it's own sense of humor and a great combat system. If it had better graphics (hey, I grew up with high graphical games), I could safely say that this is the ultimate rpg and surpasses Oblivion easily. It's just too bad for me that Fallout 3 is rated MA15+.

MODs remedy the situation with the graphics somewhat... maybe even so much that FO2 would surpass Oblivion in your "all time hall of fame"?

fallout 2 restoration pack/unofficial fallout 2 patch here- (fixes HUGE amounts of bugs and adds to gameplay) to download these just look on the bottem of the first post and find the download buttons for the patch and restoration pack-
