The Fallout series is excellent right the way through-they really don't make games like this anymore (though Lionheart was a very good effort, but I missed turn based!) I love this series and even little things like the different pics of the Vault 13'er when you look at the different stats and skills on the character creation screen are still hilarious. These are hands down some of the funniest games you will ever play. Everything is just how it was and this game could teach many newer offerings a thing or two about story and game mechanics! I was delighted to find that it still plays brilliantly. The Graphics may be a bit old now, but thats a minor issue really. This remains one of the best rpgs you will ever pay.
The only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is cos I cant give it 4 1/2! Also, Fallout 2 is bigger, better and the same price. But you MUST get em both! If you never saw these first time round, PLEASE play them. They work out at only a couple of quid each on GOG (and you can take advantage of the BOGOF offer, so it's not even that much!)
So get out into that waste land and create the legend of the vault dweller your way!
