Fallout is truly a nostalgia game, that harkens back to a golden age when PC-RPG's were still firmly rooted in pen and paper gaming. While its clunky mechanics and questionable NPC AI, may turn off most modern RPG gamers, its deep character development, multi-path story line and the hip tongue-in-cheek presentation make it worth playing.
