I was a bit disappointed in failing to resolve the ghoul situation to her liking.

Killing the ghouls and/or melting the reactor is "to her liking." Any other solution gets (at best) a neutral reaction from her. I always found it very interesting that her hatred of the ghouls was so great that even when they provided valuable power to them, she'd still kick you out of town if she found out. The "best" solution is to fix the reactor, optimize it, talk to McClure, and just tell Lynette you "solved the problem" without going into any details.*

*However, due to a bug, you'll still get the Invaded by Vault City ending instead of the Gecko-Vault City Alliance ending unless you've installed the killap fixpatch from NMA.

I'd have thought so, so I caused a reactor meltdown + killed off the ghouls and she blew me off for causing a massive radiation problem. There's just no pleasing some people... :/

Personally I wouldn't kill her, I'd just have her become my servant and have her become a sex doll for my companions. Myron the perv that he is would be all over her, and I could (just to see the look on her face) see how she reacts to being in contact with a mutant and a ghoul.
