I'm having this weird issue with Tactics, everything looks and works fine for the most part but whenever I mouse over something the tooltip text flickers instead of just showing up. For example in the options menu when I mouse over an option the tooltip will appear for a second and then disappear and reappear for a second again making it really hard to read any of them.

I'm unsure as how to tackle this problem, it appears in all resolutions. I tried playing with the nvidia scaling options which did nothing. I'm really at a loss at how to fix this issue, it's not really a game breaker but it makes it annoying to play somewhat.

Intel Core i5
evga nVidia GTX 560 latest beta drivers
6 gigs of ram

Thanks

EDIT: I managed to fix it by installing a patch for FOT meant to fix invisible icons. The patch can be found on the NMA website.

EDIT 2: Nevermind, the problem came back I restarted my PC this morning. So I don't really know what "fixed" it last night.

EDIT 3: The problem fixed itself again just before I left for work, after re-installing the game a number of times and trying that patch again. However when I got back from work and turned my system back on the problem popped up again. Now I'm really confused, trying to figure out what exactly "fixes" it or if it is truly random.

EDIT 4: I FIXED the problem, and it's a baffling one. It turns out it was iTunes causing the problem. I play games with a podcast going on in the background, I didn't realize it but every time the problem was "fixed" I must have closed iTunes. I wish this would've occurred to me earlier as it would've save me a ton of headaches. But I tried 5 times with iTunes open (minimized/ maximized doesn't matter) and 5 times with iTunes closed down. The problem always persisted with iTunes open and went away with iTunes closed. I'm updating iTunes now to see if that fixes it. *sigh* computers, amirite?

I'm having the exact same problem, but I don't have iTunes so I won't be able to close it, however, I might be able to find the offender program or another solution.

I will let you know how I managed to fix it.
