When I used to LAN this with friends on windows we would sometimes play for 'keeps' where, if you lost to another player, you would have to give them one of the characters from your team. This was done by giving them the character file which was located somewhere in the FOT directory.

I've started playing again but this time on Mac and I can't figure out where the char files are kept (or any of the assets for that matter), are they all just stored inside the app file?

I play this at work after hours with colleagues so it would be nice to be able to bring characters in from home as to not chew into our game time with char building.

EDIT: SOLVED! just a few minutes after posting (man I feel like an idiot). Well hopefully this helps anyone else having this problem.

right-click on the FOT file in your app folder and select 'show package contents'.

select: drive_c -> Program Files -> GOG.com -> Fallout Tactics -> core -> user -> char

Any characters you have made should show up there as .chr files.
