A while ago I bought and downloaded fallout tactics to my computer. I played the first level on the internet to the face. Can I save my game. Turn on my computer. And when I tried to turn it back on it had a hard drive failure. I thought it was my computer. Then I got a new computer. A couple of days ago and read downloaded the game did the same thing. And after I beat the first level and went back to the base and saved. When I tried to turn on my new computer the hard drive failed again. The first time I thought it was a coincidence. But now I think it might be something in the game. I really like all of the follow up games. And just found out about fallout tactics. I would love to try to play this game but not at the cost of ruining all my computers.. I do not have a lot of money and cannot afford to buy a new computer. Has anybody ever had this problem before?
Sorry about the weird message. I am doing voice recognition from my cell phone. It gets kind of funny. But I hope you can figure out what I'm trying to say. Thanks

Your description of what happened doesn't say much. Software should not be capable of causing hard drive failure like that either.
Did the HDD physically malfunction? Did your PC report a S.M.A.R.T. alert that the HDD was due to fail? If none of those happened, what makes you assume the HDD has failed?

Also, far as hard drives go, realise they are replaceable. You don't have to buy a whole new computer if your HDD fails.
i did not have a copy of windows so it was cheeper to get a "new" old computer then get a copy of windows. I found out what it was any way. i was putting my lap top in my trunk that was full and it was resting just under the speeker in the back, so it was sitting just under a big magnet. not a good idea. hahah
and the hdd failed by not even loading any thing other then saying hdd fail
