Hi there,

I have Fallout: NV in my Steam library, but I feel that the game is not properly optimized there. As a comparison, Fallout 4 runs more smoothly with all the bells and whistles on (running on Win 10).

I'd like to repurchase the game again provided that the GOG version is substantially better. Can anyone with both versions and with a Win10 setup comment on this?

My general specs (off the top of my head): 8Gb RAM, SSD drive, i5 CPU, GTX 1060

Thanks and happy gaming.
I was wondering that myself, i want to play New Vegas again and would be willing to buy the GOG version if it ran better. You need to mod the shit out of the steam version to get it run properly.

I have both versions of fallout new vegas and they both run fine for me with the settings on the max. I do get a little fps boost and it usually stays at 60 with the gog version although that could be becuase of any number of reasons.
My specs are:
intel I7 2.5ghz - 3.2ghz
gtx 960m 2gb
8gb dddr4

Edit: For the gog version i am not running any mods
