I recently got a new PC and I can't seem to get New Vegas or Fallout 3 to run on it. Oblivion and Skyrim seem to run fine so far. It's not that it's crashing or anything, it simply won't open at all. The launcher comes up, I click "play" and I get a (0xc000007b) error. This happens on both Steam and GOG copies of the games. I have tried everything I could find online. Literally everything. My Direct X packages are fine, drivers are up to date, Windows is up to date, run everything as administrator, checked compatibility, checked my .NET files, ran a number of tests on my SSD and nothing has worked. I have no idea if anyone has any idea how to fix this, but I would really love to be able to play this game again. If you have anything for me, anything at all I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Problem z uruchomieniem gry pod win 10 x 64 bit.
Problem z uruchomieniem tej gry występuje już od kilku lat jeszcze raz pytam co ROBI CENTRUM POMOCY ZA TĘ GRĘ ZAPŁACIŁEM I MUSZĘ NA WŁASNĄ RĘKĘ SZUKAĆ ROZWIĄZANIA PROBLEMU.ŻENADA Z WASZEJ STRONY.!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same issue; I have about 200 hours on this game, and after being away from it for a couple of months it refused to load. Use GOG, click play, get a "synching" message, and then nothing.

FYI, just reinstalled C++ as recommended in the forum thread "fnv won't start", and it seems to have solved the problem.

I was having the same problem, then I followed a guide on Steam that was very thorough and it worked. I will look later and see if I can find those guides again. I am almost completely finished with 3 and have play tested NV for about 20 hours and both ran fine.
