Several game news suppliers are reporting Fallout:London will be released on GOG, great news BUT...

I own Fallout 4 and all its various DLC on 'another' gaming supplier, and am wondering if the GOG version of London can be attached to that account?

I don't think so. Cause every single update on steam. Delayed FOLON. The Fallout 4 version here, is still the version. FOLON was made under.
So does that mean we will never get Next Gen patch and instead we will get Fallout London?

I'm so lost as to what is GOG doing with updates

Fallout London team said they was going to update the mod for next gen update so even if we get it here without the next gen update it wouldn't be compatible

I have read the statement. 4 days ago. It's not gonna be put on, the nexus. But be hosted on GOG itself.

This might be a stupid question but if Fallout London will require “Next Gen” and GOG’s version of “Next Gen” will not be the same as Steam’s (and it WON’T BE according to GOG themselves) - then will a GOG version of Fallout London even be possible ? Would the mod team not have to create a separate, special “GOG Fallout London” ?

I watched a YouTube video by one of the Fallout London team in which he was expressing (mock ?) despair / surprise at the “New Gen” update. He was really gushing about how lovely the people at GOG had been, but he didn’t really say what this would all mean regarding the viability of a GOG version of Fallout London.

If they finished FOLON for version,1.10.163.0. They i see no reason for it, not to end up on GOG.
Cause this is still the version offered on GOG. When on steam they advanced.

Yeah but I wish I could find this YouTube video. I hope things will turn out as you say, and I can’t see any GOOD reason why the mod devs wouldn’t release a version for 1.10.163, but the video gave me strong negative vibes. We don’t know whether anti-GOG agreements have not been struck in the background. Call me paranoid but I don’t expect a GOG-compatible version of the mod to arrive. I guess we can only wait and see…

Ahhh… massive correction. I have just started watching a Gopher video entitled “GOG will host FALLOUT : LONDON”. It sounds like the game WILL be coming to GOG but not to Nexus mods. I’ve only just started watching the video so not sure yet…

I apologise for the false alarm - it was just ingrained pessimism. I sincerely hope Gopher is right !

On the other hand, will this release be compatible with 1.10.163 ?

I’m guessing not ? This is SO confusing !

Does it matter, if they update Fallout 4 on GOG. Then they surely update the mod also.
And you can easily rollback on GOG. Compared to what you need to do to rollback the steam version.
Just a Simple question!!

Can I download the London FO4 from GOG and use my steam [program?

with a SDK wrapper or how ever, is it doable? I do not want to buy FO4 again anywhere.

So, YEs or NO?

Probably not as usually GOG require the the main game to be owned here for any addon mod (for example the Skyrim mods Nehrim and Enderal). Might be wrong but I think you'll be out of luck.
Latest News:

https://www.reddit.com/r/fallout4london/comments/1dwntc1/release_progress_update/
There has been a lot of speculation regarding our upcoming release, and we wanted to open up and clear the air for our core supporters.

The bottom line is that we've sent several builds over to GOG for QA testing and are waiting for the final green light.

Once they've completed the process of double-checking that Fallout: London and its installer work on all supported machines, we should be good to go. (Yes, we have our own installer, and downgrader too!)

It is in all of our interests that this final QA process is carried out in full, and we are very thankful that GOG is assisting.

While it may seem like not a lot is going on, we can assure you that the heads of the department have been working non-stop behind the scenes during this time to make the release build as good as it can be. The end is in sight.

Stay safe and remember. Mind the gap.

According to the Fallout London website:
Fallout: London will be hosted on GOG and is compatible with Steam via installer.

Fallout London requires Fallout 4 and all of the DLC. There are no plans to release a ‘lite’ version as it would require major reworking of our mod.
You'll probably just need to download the offline installer and it should work for Steam or GOG copies.
