I have a stock intall of fallout 3 that has sound in menu but as soon as I attempt to start a new save or load one I lose all sound. I am on win 10 and havent installed any mods. I have done one 100% clean install thus far and plan to attempt anohter. If anyone has any solutions please let me know. Sorry if this is a redundant post as well, did a couple quick searches for this issue and was met with the numerous other issues this game is known for.

Weird solution but having the game manually detect hardware and adjust settings for me fixed it.
