i recently puschased fallout 3 game of the year edition in pc; it includes all 5 (including broken steel) add ons; the add ons are enabled and were fanctioning; nevertheless when i finish the main story the game ends. i had played the game in the past in xbox and i iknow that the adventure should continue (broken steel add on); that is not happening and i don t know why;

YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETE ''GALAXY NEWS RADIO'' QUEST

THEN YOU PROCEED TO ''TAKE IT BACK'' QUEST

THIS WAY WHEN YOU COMPLETE THE '''TAKE IT BACK'' QUEST AND THE MAIN STORY ENDS; THE GAME DOES NOT END AND YOU CONTINUE ADVENTURING / PLAYING

When you started playing the game, did you have the notifications pop up for the DLC quests? I think they're all distress signals. Open up your quest log and see if you have the Outcast Distress Signal quest. If you don't have them, you probably just need to enable the DLCs in the load order from the launcher.

It depends on your choices at the end of the main game. If you choose certain options the game will end regardless of any DLC installed. Check the wiki/search engine for details.
