Hi, i've recently decided to mod Fallout 3 with an ENB, however it was laggy and generally didnt run properly, so I made the mistake of removing every file related to the ENB from my PC, now fallout 3 will crash as soon as it hits the "Please Stand By" start screen, and sometimes before.
Ive tried:

Installing replacement d3d9.dll and falloutdefault.ini files (still installed)

Uninstalling and reinstalling

Verify/Repair

Changing compatibility modes

Changing to windowed mode

None of these worked

Here are screenshots of my files in the game folder, documents, and the crash itself

NOTE: From what ive read on another post, it may be corrupted save files, but those files are backed up through gog galaxy, and I cant delete them.

Usually games need to have the same mods installed to let the saved games work.

Pretty much the same problem here... i cant find any fixes either. I don't understand how it could be a corrupt save, since I've never actually saved a game for this on my laptop. Only on my PC. I don't know if it's because it's on my laptop or what. But same issues for me, the second the in game cursor loads in, game freezes and crashes. No idea why. Really pissing me off, since the GOG version is supposed to be the version you can get on windows 10 that isn't broken. Wish we could figure this out.
Also, the game didn't have a d3d9.dll to begin with... that was part of the enb.. You shouldn't need that to run the game, may actually be causing your crashes..
