Hey Guys.
I bought fallout 3 here when it was 10 bucks and since then i have been trying to fix it. Everytime i click play on the galaxy launcher i get to the fallout 3 launcher just fine but when i click play it starts showing the first slide (i think it is the one with "please wait" and a bird) but before it goes up completley it crashes. I already made the changes to the FALLOUT.ini, tried compability mode, tried launching it with no antialiasing and antisotropic filtering turned on, installed the latest patch from the bethesda website and the unofficial patch from nexusmods and i used Archive Invalidation invalidated but now i have run out of options. I appreciate every bit of help you can give as I really like Fallout 3 and want to play it again.

My Sytem Specs are as follows:
Windows 7 Premium 64-bit
Intel Core i7 4790
8GB Ram
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

Do you get any type of message when the game crashes or does it simply crash to desktop?

Ok. Did you try using windowed mode? You can turn it on in the options and it can help. Also make sure you run Fallout 3 in the same resolution as your desktop resolution. If it doesn't help do a backup of the files found in "Documents\My Games\Fallout 3" and delete them. Try to run the game. You can also try to disable desktop composition if you haven't tried this yet. Go to your Fallout3.exe file, right click it and select "Properties", click the compatibility tab and "Disable desktop composition".

Thank you man the deletion of the files seems to have worked.
