Hi there!

I'm playing fallout 2 on my desktop computer.
I've installed a translation patch but I'm playing without mod or high resolution patch,ecc.
I don't know why but I've a serious problem of lag, especially in the big cities.
FFFFUUUUUU!

Whats your CPU? It also mite be a good idea to patch the game with both the official patches and the unofficial ones. Which reminds me to look for a updated one.

I had that problem as well.

Try deleting the file ddraw.dll from the game directory. That did the trick for me. It is apparently a common issue.
