ive read on multiple sights including yahoo news that fallout 1 is free till april 8th but when i checked it says 5.99 why?

To better word the answer, Fallout 1 was free until the 8th of April, 2012. If you're still around please mark one of us as the solution, thanks :)
In the meantime, there are other free games to be had. Just click the free games link on the homepage, or do a search of the catalog with price set to "Free".
