I was playing fallout 1 and had a speach option to say"I came here to kick butt and chew gum....you can guess the rest." Has anyone else gotten this!?

Both Fallout and Duke Nukem were making refrence to the film They Live. In the movie the hero walks into a bank and says; "I have come here to kick ass and chew bubblegum... and I'm all out of bubblegum." This became one of those well known quotes that people said all the time. It was then picked up as a catch phrase for Duke. It is refrenced twice in Fallout, once in the Skumpit and again by the Brotherhood of Steel assault team.
I'll give you a +1 for the find but a -1 for not having seen They Live. Although I'll give you a pass if you are either much younger than me or go right now and watch the movie.

It brings a tear to my eye to know there is still culture appreciating said entertainment works. Aah yes, my faith in humanity has been raised, albeit just a little ;)
