Forgive me if I missed this but the forum is too big. :P

I followed all the instructions for installing 1.3 and it still says 1.2 in the lower right corner of the screen. Any ideas?

Just to clarify, you installed it the right way:

TeamX states the following:

Fallout v.1.3.5 patch by TeamX (unofficial)
=================================
Installation

Attention!
This patch requires Fallout version 1.2! If you own the different version of the game, upgrade to 1.2 first. The necessary update (semi-official Fallout v.1.2 patch) can be found at www.teamx.ru.

Copy the compressed patch file into the directory that Fallout is installed to.
Decompress the patch using a file decompression program such as UnRAR or WinRAR version 3.30+.
Extract the files using the option to include subdirectories.
Answer 'Yes' when prompted to overwrite existing files.
After the files have been decompressed, you can delete patch archive from your Fallout directory.

Yeah, word for word that's what I did.
I'm not sure if this unofficial patch do change the displayed version number at all, so maybe it's already properly installed.
But the TeamX patch is rather old, why don't you use the Fallout FIXT patch/mod? It's still maintained and further developed, includes TeamX, offers versions for "fixes only" and "fixes & new content" and has a clear in-game validation whether it's properly installed or not.

I just did. It gets a lot of crap which I don't understand because it's fully customizable. She's working great. :D
Nice! Have fun playing Fallout!
It's funny to me that TeamX never changed the "FALLOUT 1.2" text in the bottom-right of the screen, because it's extremely easy to change.

All you need to do is open Falloutw.exe with a Hex editor, search for the text string "Fallout", find where it says "Fallout %d.%d" (or something to that effect) and manually write in version info instead of the variable placeholders.

Oh well
nvm
