Is there a cheat or editor to set the number of days left to complete the main objective, for either FO1 or FO2, or both? I never seem to have enough time to do anything, especially when I'm sussing out the special/random encounters.

With these editors you can change the date in the game:

* F1se
* F2se

Edit

Fallout 1 - Go to GVARS and change 10:VAULT_WATER to 150.

Fallout 2 - Haven't found the variable to this. Try to change the date.
