I doesn't work. I tried a modlist "Magnum opus", and it gives an error that it can't find the game.
Asked in the author's discord and got an answer GOG version won't be supported.

While there are cheat mods, most Mods are doing other things. On FO3: I added Iron Sights, Reduced excessive VATS cinematics, Reduced excessive limb explosions, removed the sickly green color cast, etc...

Pssst! I'll give you a little tip...of you ahd the steam version and uninstalled the steam version because you are now using this version...go into the steam folder for fallout 4 and all the mods you installed using the mods menue page are still there..copy the folders , and f4se files directly to your GOG folder. Delete the f4se steam .dll file and start the gog version with the f4se launcher exe file . You will have your mods and be able to continue with the saved games you made under the steam version like nothing happened. Don't tell anyone..but tell everyone heh heh heeee! Screw Steam.

NOTE: This only works if you didn't check the box to remove player files and saves. Been playing for hours using this little trick and so far I have encountered no issues.
