When playing Fallout I get display problems with my experience to gain for next level not changing except after leveling which still doesn't fix everything just displays amount to next level appropriately but it doesn't go down with Experience. Also amount of experience gained overall stays static around 3,000. Sure its a minor problem but I like things to work exactly the way they are supposed to. I have the GOG version and all the Team X patchs from the links and the children patch too.

Edit: I had to change a bit of it, during typing I changed something around using copy and paste but forgot to delete what I copied until right after I posted.

TeamX patches and Childern Patch?

Semi official 1.2.1 patch already contains Children patch. You do not need to install it separately.

Try clean copy of Fallout, apply 1.2.1 and then 1.3.5 patch. See if the glitch persists.

Thats basically what I did the first time, I reinstalled then installed the patchs in the exact order in the forum post, also I made sure that Fallout was in a seperate folder outside of program files since I had problems with the unnofficial patch for Arcanum being in program files with the UAP.

Edit: I put "the" in the middle of "in" and "forum".

My mistake then. I understood you installed Children Patch separately, which could cause some files overlapping and possibly bugs.

From what I have read the children patch enables children in the game, the Team X patchs just put in the nessecary files to have kids in the game but the children patch enables them fully, otherwise why would they post the Team X patchs and the childrens patch in the forums from the GOG team if the childrens patch(I did notice the UK version part next to it) is already in the Team X patchs?

As for the main question, it may be that its been awhile since I have played Fallout that much, so I don't remember how everything should be displayed.

Because they made a mistake?
From unofficial 1.2.1 Patch readme:
* Children animation is bundled with the patch and enabled in the game engine.
No additional installation of children patch required.

Okay thanks for the info but I might not have to reinstall since the patchs are meant to overwrite data so if I already had the childrens patch for the Team X people then the childrens patch by itself would have simply overwritten the CP data from Team X.

As for what I thought was a display glitch is probably just me not remembering how things are displayed (or I Forgot Crap About This Game Disorder) in the game. Thanks for the help anyway, shows GOG has a supportive community, I will mark something on here as a solution.

I'll have a look myself anyway, it's been too long since I played Fallout ;). Might as well keep my eyes peeled for the bug.

Just what OS are you using?

Vista is the OS, thanks again for the help.
