This game is a good tactical based squad game. You control a team of up to 6 people around various missions. In style it is a lot like Jagged Alliance and Wages of War.
And it is in the Fallout universe making the gameplay mechanics very similar if you know Fallout.
It is a good game, but it is no Fallout - so people who are into Fallout aren't automatically swayed by this title. It isn't an RPG as such, sure the characters have the Fallout skills, but the focus is on the combat and not the character building, and yes there is a story but it is mostly there to drive you through the scenarios.
Nevertheless - if enjoying strategy and tactical combat - this game offers hours of entertainment.
