***FALLOUT: LONDON INSTALLATION***

1) Download and install Fallout 4: GOTY in GOG Galaxy.

2) After install, click on “More” ==> “Manage Installation” ==> “Configure...”
imgur.com/HX88icZ

3) In Configuring, click on “Features” tab and uncheck “Sync local saves with GOG Galaxy Cloud”.
imgur.com/MMyxrjF
a) Next, (if you have High Resolution Texture Pack DLC installed) click on “DLC” tab and uncheck that DLC.
imgur.com/kCleDcf

4) Start FO4: GOTY and in the launcher go to “Options”.

5) In Options, choose your desired “Graphics Adapter and Resolution” and “Detail” settings. (Yes, you can choose “Ultra” settings if your PC can handle it without any fear of crashes with these steps.) (If you’re going Ultra-Widescreen, then the “Aspect Ratio”, “Resolution”, “Windowed Mode” and “Borderless” doesn’t matter here, more on that later.)

6) Click on “Advanced”, and adjust other “Ultra” settings if you want, but leave “Weapon Debris” turned off. Ok these settings.
imgur.com/UayiIoT

7) Start the game at least once. You don’t have to go any further than the game menu. Quit once done.

8) Download Fallout: London in GOG Galaxy, and then click install, (install this in its own folder, don't install into the FO4 GOTY folder.)

9) From here is where your choice begins.
a) If you want to just play London, then click the “Play” button, a London launch screen will show, then click on “Install”. THIS WILL INSTALL THE LONDON MOD FILES INTO YOUR FO4: GOTY INSTALLATION FOLDER AND YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO PLAY YOUR SAVE GAME FROM YOUR FO4: GOTY. IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THE GAMES SEPARATE, GO TO STEP B, OTHERWISE PLAY LONDON FROM HERE.
b) MO2 users begin here. Go to the Fallout: London installation folder. Then archive the whole “Data” folder. Use the archiver of your choice e.g. WinRAR or 7zip, (7zip is best.)

***MO2 USERS FALLOUT: LONDON INSTALLATION***

10) Start MO2, click on “Profile” drop menu and click on “<Manage…>”. In Profiles, click “Create” and name it your choice, (I chose London here). Below check both “Use profile-specific” boxes and “Close”.

11) Next, go to the Fallout: London installation folder, then into the “__Config” folder and copy both .ini files.
imgur.com/nIdacJb

12) In MO2, click on “Show Open Folders menu…”, then click on “Open INIs folder”. Paste and replace the .ini files here.
imgur.com/qNLORTY

13) In MO2, click on “Install a new mod from an archive” and navigate to the Data archive that’s in the Fallout: London installation folder. Open it, and rename it “London Mod” and install. Once done, check the box to activate.
imgur.com/vFN8Jxp

14) [OPTIONAL] If you still see the “DLC Ultra High Resolution” pack in your mod list, and want to be safe that it’s not being used with this London mod, but still want it for FO4: GOTY, then follow these steps. Go to the Fallout 4 GOTY installation folder, then into the “Data” folder. Right-click on the “DLCUltraHighResolution.esm” file and archive it with your archiver. Delete the “DLCUltraHighResolution.esm” file afterwards. In MO2, click on “Install a new mod from an archive” navigate to that archive and install. Now you can turn that pack on and off from here. In this case leave it off for London.

15) Now to get The Fallout 4 Script Extender, or F4SE for short. Download “version 0.6.23” from Nexus Mods.
a) In MO2, click on the “Downloads” tab and right-click on the F4SE archive and “Open file”.
imgur.com/wi0hJyk
b) Go into the “f4se_0_06_23” folder, and highlight all the loose files in that folder, (don’t highlight the Data and src folder”. Drag and drop these files into the Fallout 4 GOTY installation folder. [NOTE: There’s no need to add the script files, since those files are included in the London Mod.]
imgur.com/yYAU0Kr
c) Now to add the executable in MO2. Click on "Configure the executables that can be started through Mod Organizer" icon. In Modify Executable click on the "+" and navigate to "f4se_loader.exe" that's located in the FO4 GOTY installation folder. Add it, and also add -forcesteamloader in the "Arguments". Click OK once done.
imgur.com/a/6Jb0Fl9

16) Now to add xSE PluginPreloader F4. This is needed for Buffout 4. Download “version 0.3” from Nexus Mods. [NOTE: There’s some confusion about which version to get here, since it’s next gen compatible, but that’s just what it is, it’s next gen COMPATIBLE. So it’s safe, (and likely best) to use, and is the one I’ve used without any problems. But you can also use the older version 0.2.5.1 if you like, your choice.] These files must be placed into the Fallout 4 GOTY installation folder just like F4SE, so follow those exact steps from 15.a&b with this mod.

17) Now to add Buffout 4. Download “version 1.28.6” from Nexus Mods. [NOTE: “Address Library for F4SE Plugins” mod isn’t needed, since it’s included in the London Mod.] Once downloaded, go to the “Download” tab in MO2, double-click on the “Buffout” archived file and install. Check the box next to it to activate.

***ULTRA-WIDESCREEN INSTALLATION***

18) Go to Nexus Mods Fallout London Downgrader and Addons page. Click on the “Files” tab and download “Fallout London Addons WideScreen Fixes Only”. (If you have trouble downloading this mod through MO2, then download it manually.) Double-click on the archive under MO2 "Downloads" tab, and install. Check the box to activate. (If you had to do this manually, right-click on any archive in MO2 “Downloads” then click on “Reveal in Explorer”. This will open the folder to where all of your MO2 downloads are being placed. Just cut and paste any manually downloads into here. Then follow the installation as normal.)

19) Next to edit the .ini file.
a) In MO2, click on “Tools” then “INI Editor”.
imgur.com/MtcI3db
b) Click on the “fallout4prefs.ini” tab. Tap CTRL+F on your keyboard, search for “iSize”. Change the value of H=* to H=1440 and W=* to W=3440. Click Save once done. [NOTE: You can also turn on and off Fullscreen and Borderless window from here too. For borderless go to bBorderles and change the value 0 for Off 1 for On. For Fullscreen go to bFull Screen and change the value 0 for Off 1 for On.]

***ENB INSTALLATION***

Why install this? To make your game still look beautiful of course, since HD Textures DLC is turned off. Plus, this will also cap your framerate to 60fps for those who are having the moving too fast issue.

20) Google search “ENBSeries v0.496 for Fallout 4”, and once on the Enbdev site, click download at the bottom of the page.

21) Open the archive, and go into the “WrapperVersion” folder. Highlight all of the “d3d” and “enb” files, (you don’t have to include the txt files.) Drag and drop these files into the Fallout 4 GOTY installation folder.
imgur.com/z567GY0

22) Next, go to Nexus Mods Fallout London Downgrader and Addons page. Go to “Files” and manual download “Fallout London Downgrader and Addons”.

23) Open the archive, and go into “FOLON AddOn” folder, then into “06 - ENB&Reshade” folder. Highlight both files. Drag and drop both files into the Fallout 4 GOTY installation folder. Replace with these new files when asked. [NOTE: Once you start the game, you’ll see the ENB activated. You can access the settings by pressing Shift+Enter together, and the same to close. To toggle this ENB on and off while in game, press Shift+F12 together.]

***ADDITIONAL MODS THAT WORKS WELL WITH FALLOUT LONDON***

These are mods that I’ve personally tried and still use in my game, and have played with for hours without any game crashes, so give them a try to further enhance your London experience and immersion. All mods are from Nexus Mods and are easy to install.

24) Reverb and Ambiance Overhaul – Use this to get all of your immersive sounds together. Download “Reverb and
Ambiance Overhaul - ALL DLC”

25) Enhanced Blood Textures Standard – Use this is to enhance the gore. Download “EBT_Basic v101”

26) Classic Holstered Weapons System – Use this for that Fallout New Vegas weapons immersion.

27) See-Through-Scopes – Use this for further weapons sight immersion.

28) Weapon Debris Crash Fix – If you want this effect back on then use this mod. It works, and your game won't crash from this anymore.

29) Beer Mats Fix – For a temporary fix for some bugged out beer mats.

Last thing for the MO2 users. Remember to run the game from the f4se_loader.exe with -forcesteamloader in the Arguments.

Also, for MO2 users. You can just uninstall the Fallout: London install since you already have all the files you need to play the mod. So, it can be uninstalled or just deleted to save space. You can just move that Data archive into the MO2 downloads folder to keep it.

I hope this helps, and happy gaming.

Problem, My mo2 wont even launch it, the command window will open up for when you launch f4se and mo2 locks like it always does but no commands run then it just aborts and unlocks putting me back to the mo2 screen.

I wont say i followed it to the exact letter to avoid me looking like an absolute dunce, however this issue is a real drag after following your process.. Any help is appreciated.

Do you also have the Steam client installed? If not, install that, and add -forcesteamloader in the Arguments for F4SE in MO2. Afterwards, when you run F4SE you'll get a pop-up message asking if you want to run Steam, choose "Start Steam". Wait for Steam client to fully log you in, and then click OK in MO2, and now it should launch. This just might be the cause of your problem.
