Quest says Check in with Syd, marker points to Syd but he's ignoring me when i talk to him no matter how long i wait.


My quest progress looks like this:

Check in with Syd
✅ Wait for Syd to finish writing
✅ Check in with Syd
✅ Wait for Syd to finish writing
✅ Speak with Syd

Not sure if it´s really a bug or just a display problem in the steps of the questscript. I had that too and he, at some point, simply stepped up on me on his own and solved it.

I think the 12MB patch or whatever installed recently, broke Syd, because I'm further along in the quest; and Syd is in an alley near The Glades, but he reacts as if you'd never started the questline. It may just be a side-quest, but I'm really annoyed that Team FOLON themselves have broken it :( .

I had a similar bug at the very end of his quest. Turns out Gaunt was meant to talk to Syd about his writing, and because Gaunt was busy waiting for me to initiate a conversation (I was at the end of the Vagabond questline), he refused to see Syd, leaving the quest trapped in limbo until further notice.
