Mine crashes when I run it. It directs me to a log file that tells me some invalid access code and a big hex dump. Anyway, I'm running it on Vista, and I'll try running it on 7 tomorrow, but does anyone know what could be the problem?

Without seeing the actual error? I don't think so.

As Domochevsky mentioned, without further details it's hard to say. Might be the same with more info though ;-)
Anyway, try explicitly running the gam as an Administrator by right-clicking it and select the Run as.. option.
Deactivate any anti-virus software. Go offline before if you feel unsafe.
