Situation: After I help Capala ( the city in the north) defeat Aztec people, I wander around to explore and suddenly Cohoylt pop-up and he said that I was going to attack his people so he must go and next time we meet will be in the battle bla bla bla ( I had already conquered the Aztec city) then his status become absent.
Question 1: How do I get him back? The Aztec battle had already done. (I assumed it's a bug )
Question 2: If I hadn't fought the Aztec, so how do i get him back ? I don't want to fight and kill him :)

Before you attack Technotitlan (spelling?), Coyotl will do that dialogue. He will then be part of the guards at Moctezuma's palace. If you choose to fight against the Aztecs, Coyotl will always leave - you are waging war against his people. That he stays for the burning of the farms is more than should be expected of him.
If you killed Moctezuma without Coyotl leaving, it was a bug.
If you had not fought against the Aztec, Coyotl would not have left.

So if I want him I have to help the Aztec? What about when I double-cross them? Will he leave?

No idea. Haven't done the double cross. But it would make sense if he left.

Nope, he doesn't leave after you killed Mocetzuma. Probably even possible to make him land the killing blow. Although it would be much more interesting to leave the killing buisness to Ananconda
