After completing an act of infamy, I was rewarded with some loot: a Grecian urn. I was delighted to hear this, mainly because that the urn would be my first piece of loot ever, and was anticipating it's arrival.
Unfortunately, the urn never arrived.
Immediately after completing the act, I had to deal with some pesky intruders that had arrived in my absence. After the fight, I focused my attention on the green outline where the urn SHOULD have been. Puzzled, I checked to see which of my henchmen was in charge of bringing the urn to the spot.
Nobody was going to bring the urn.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Also, is this glitch fixable without having to start a new file?

If you see the green outline but no worker is assigned to bring it in then that usually means that you've placed the item in a location that a worker can't get to (such as behind a level 3 door or an area blocked of by other items in the room).

Okay, not sure how much of Evil Genius you've played, but when something out of the ordinary happens (like an attack) every minion is pulled off what he's doing to deal with it if you raised the alert level. What may (unfortunately) have happened is your yellow/red alert caught the minion just as he was exiting the helicopter carrying your urn, in which case the urn no longer actually exists on your island, because it's in the helicopter/building where it's not accessible. It sounds like your best option is to reload.
The other possibility is that a thief made off with it while it was sitting on the beach and you were distracted, but you said the outline was still there.
