Is there a way of healing my evil genius?

I made my control room quite close to the entrance, and every once in a while some agent (poor, pathetic and such) comes in without having any heat and starts shooting my evil genius for no reason. Most of the time they just see him and ignore him, but since I haven't found a way to heal him he will finally die on one of this attacks as the damage starts to add up.

I tried taking him to the infirmary but he just makes the minion there salute.

Anyone now if this is possible and how?
