I'm so glad this game was on the cheap last week. I joined Gog.com because of an article in PCGamer where the site was mentioned. I looked it up and lo and behold a few titles were on sale. I'd heard of Evil Genius but I never thought about buying it because I thought it looked pretty crappy, to be honest.
However, the Gog.com trailer sold me and I bought and downloaded this game, and haven't stopped playing since.
I was highly addicted to the Dungeon Keeper games and I really feel like this is the spiritual successor to the series. If you were a fan of those games I guarantee you'll find this one fun and familiar. It's got all the humor, all the strategy and all the gameplay that you'd expect to find in DK3, even if the storyline is so dissimilar.
I had such a good experience with this game I've since downloaded eight more on a whim... games that I missed the first time around that I might be interested in.
Now that I'm an adult with disposable income, I get to piss my money away on games like I always wished I could as a child. Thanks, Gog!
