Anytime I change the controls and click OK the game crashes. Any insight?

Can acknowledge this, I had this experience when remapping the weapon release button 2 to a new key... Second try was successful. System is Win10 home. Gog should take a look to adress this problem please.

Same. I ended up modifying the *.ini but this is really bad since I don't get many of the button paths right for my joystick.

maybe a sily question but is this forum monitored by anyone from the GOG development or support team ? How do they become aware of any of the (few) problems we discussed so far ?

Ocassionally. From time to time some GOG support or mods open a message to acknowlege or notice a problem is solved.
But my experience is that the forum is intended for users. A lot of solutions can be found in that way. For a more serious or specific problem It is much useful open a ticket and notice it to GOG support service, just to be sure that they aware of it.
