I hear a fanfare sound alerting me that another nation is sending me a request where I need to make a selection, but the message instantly disappears.
There is no mention of the event in the event log at the bottom of the screen, so I have no idea what the other nation wanted of me (I am not sure if I "auto declined" them, or if the event itself "got cancelled"; I doubt I "auto accepted" since I would see a difference on my diplo screen). This has been happening since a particular date, save/load does not help.
I have seen this bug reported on paradox forums, but no known solution to it.
Any ideas? Maybe fiddling with the auto-pause options?
EDIT: Fiddling with the auto-pause did not fix it. I think the other nations are trying to do either a royal marriage or a trade agreement with me.
