So I keep seeing the "Standalone" moniker for followers that then state a requirement......ignoring how ridiculous saying something is standalone and then stating it has other requirements.

My question is:
Are all the bodies in Skyrim using the same body package with variations of weight or is there a way to have a body mod that is completely different and self contained? I'm guessing most will not be self contained as Standalone implies, due to modders not giving permission to use elements of other mods.


Example of what I am curious about:

I want CBBE bodies in the base game. With a few randomly placed characters for variety all over the game, from other body types. What I keep seeing is the Requirements are directing every mod to other mods in order to build the body and garments for one self. But nothing is really self contained.
