Redguard hangs during dialogue with characters at random. This has only happened recently when starting a new game. I had played only two weeks ago and it was working fine. now all a sudden frequent hangs during dialogue. I have an nVidia GTX 780 Ti(fully updated to 355.82
Sound Blaster ZxR DBPro (fully updated with drivers and software-set to 5.1 using digital hook up via cinematic mode dts(also tried analogue only)
Intel Core i7-4770K CPU 3.50Ghz
32 GB RAM
Windows 7 64 bit SP 1 all updates.

What are your settings I found that setting my cycles down a bit made glitches like that go away. Think I have 57000 on cycles. Also Ive noticed their version has a weird straight line down the screen on the intro. I have the original CD image from a owned copy and it seems to run smoother and with not graphical glitches mentioned above.

setting the cycles down via dosbox_redguard.conf seems to help the freeze ups are less frequent in game. I have also noticed 3 other config files including redguard_settings.conf with setting
imgmount d "..\game.ins" -t iso

could this be where you get your movies to work? I also noticed the graphical glitch in my intro movie. I also owned a copy back in 1999(or something) but the CD is cracked. was wondering about how to get an image for a proper intro movie.
