Raenikker enjoy breaking games with 'patches' made by rank amateur while you cheat with freakazoid females. Haha.

I am quite happy not trying to pull the wool over people's eye.

Stop trolling.
Lol! Sure, right after the actual troll stops in this thread created by a bonafided troll in an attempt to spread FUD about GoG games. haha

But yeah if you think GoG games really are worthless and DRM should rule over all of us I should stop. hehe

Everyone needs to stop feeding the troll. That's how they grow!

Okay, first of all: If you're trying to run Skyrim script extender dependent mods, you're *inevitably* going to run into problems regardless of platform. Any time the game updates, or people discover mods not yet updated to support the latest version of skyrim script extender (it's not just platform updates folks, skyrim script extender changes a bunch of shit, too, about how the base game works, and frequently how the script extender itself works too) the steam forums are full of people making threads pretty much identical to this one. If you want a relatively trouble free modding experience, you're going to have to sacrifice any mods reliant on extensive custom scripting like that. You're still likely to run into hardware and software related issues, that can range from small enough you might not notice them to strait up game breaking until you go through what can be pretty complex base game installation repair processes particularly for graphical overhaul mods like ENB's, texture resolution uprades ect.

If you want a relatively pain free mod experience, do your research ahead of time, try not to install more then two or three mods at a time, and go to extensive efforts to avoid mods with custom scripting or script extensions. You do that, a lot of times you can generally keep your mod problem experience limited to actual mod conflicts. A lot of people unknowingly install mods that use the same or conflicting resources or locations.Sometimes you can fix some of those issues just with load order adjustments, but more often you'll end up having to uninstall one mod in it's entirity.

And this isn't even skyrim specific advice here, okay? This is just some what you need to know for running mods in general in videogames.
Good to see this post is irrelevant now, just like all the ones where people were saying SE would never be as popular for mods back in the day.
Does OP's comment have weight today? If not, then he/she/they/it are most likely trolling as of his/her/their/it's latest comment about Skyrim GOG being useless, at least, that's my interpretation. If anyone can inform me on the topic, that'd be great. Sorry for the list of pronouns describing OP. Don't wanna be rude. Though people will always look for problems it seems.

Also, Game of Thrones has THE best finale of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No, seriously, that last point [the one about GoT Season 8] was a joke, nothing more or less. Good one, eh?

Back on topic, I'd be very interested on everyone's thoughts on Skyrim GOG as long as the discussion remains civilized on all ends.

When the game first came out on GOG, mod support was horribly broken. All the back and forth between whoever redacted is and the other people, is that particular person's delusions that most mods are used for cheating.

The early part of the thread was just advice and bantering about GOG mod support, and that's all that needed to happen. The person claiming all modders are cheaters, is the reason the thread keeps getting necro'd. OP could have updated their post, but most of us don't do so on here after the fact.

Makes perfect sense. Thank you. Also, whaddya think about my joke regarding Game of Thrones season 8? I thought it was a good one personally [the joke, that is, not the last season].
I see Trolls for DRM are still desperately trying to keep the thread alive by arguing GOG is 'worthless' and their cheating with mods dont count cause 'everybody does it'.

Thank you. Know that doesn't reflect my true feelings on the show [personal fav of all time as long as you ignore everything after season 6 as my opinion stands right now], just wanted to mess with some people for laughs. Hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anywho, appreciate the comment.
