My character just started walking REALLY fast, like, I can zip through a big city in less than a minute.

I don't know how it happened, I guess tha'ts daggerfall for you.

How it happened was after fast travelling, I spammed a cheap open spell, to train my mysticism, I have that to get my mysticism up fast. After I ran out of mana started walking and was immediatly walking that fast, so I don't know if it was the casting that did it, or if I was already walking that fast just after fast travelling. Also it doesn't go away with fast travelling again.

It's kind of helpful to be able to run around like this but it's gonna suck for dungeons, I'd prefer to play the game normally =/

If all else fails I'll just load an older save, but if there's a way to correct it anyone knows, I'd appreciate the help, because it's hard to find something on google given that running and speed keywords will yield mostly "how to run daggerfall faster" =/

EDIT:oh well, I'm dumb, restarting dosbox solved it. sorry for the useless post :X

Restart dosbox. ;)
If only there were a way to trigger this bug on purpose...
If you have cheats on, enabled through an ini file, you can press a certain key for super-speed. This sounds exactly what you're describing. Maybe cheats were set to "on" by default? I want to think it's a function key that does the fast run.

The file is z.cfg, sitting in the DAGGERFALL main folder. Details are described in the file PATCHED.txt, which you also find in the DAGGERFALL lolder.
