As far as I understand, there are several bits of EWJ1 that are missing in the GOG version.....
The 2nd part of the chicken mech boss in Level 5
Big Bruty (bonus on the CD special edition version)
Intestinal Distress (on all of the other versions of the game I think)
A toilet warp part in New Junk City before the final boss.... (I might be mistaken on that...)
So why did GOG take those parts out? And is there anything else that I should know?

from what I've heard, the can 'o worms pack removed some levels. It's not GOG.

Big Bruty was originally a special level for the Sega CD version, which the Windows 95 "Special Edition" was basically a port of. The one thing that the Sega CD version had that made it unique was a warp portal that allowed you to skip the submarine race in Down the Tubes. No other version had that. I imagine that because the "Can o' Worms" version was released in August '94, before the Windows 95 edition, before Windows 95 in fact, it was cut down to make it compatible with DOS and HIGHMEM and all the stuff that made some graphically intensive games bug out on sub-Pentium systems. It's kinda like how Apogee's Bio Menace basically required that you run it in pure DOS, and configure your AUTOEXEC.CFG so that no other programs were running and using memory.

[OFF TOPIC]
Are the GoG boards not configured for italics? Why only bold and underline?

Can we simply mod the game and "port" missing levels and assets to dos version from win 95 one? Any tools?
