Hi, all,
Has anyone got EWJ 1 & 2 running in DOSBOX in Linux? Any tips on how you did that? My problem is that it keeps prompting for the CD.
Thanks in advance!
The EWJ.gog file is an iso image, you have to mount it inside DosBox to get the game to start. The DosBox wiki has a walkthough on how to do that.

Thanks for the tip. Sorry for the late reply as I've only been able to get back to this now.
I can mount the .gog files, but they come up empty inside DOSBOX. Any further tips? I'm using DOSBOX 0.72.

You mean the game still asks for a CD? You may need to mount the "cue" file instead,
with the "imgmount d EWJ.cue -t iso -fs iso" bit, or something like that.
Easiest is probably to read the dosbox config file in the EWJ directory and use that autoexec line that mounts the disc.
Thanks for the tip. Finally figured it out. Apparently, the best way to get it running is to use the EWJ1.conf and EWJ1.conf files. These are DOSBOX configuration files.
Go into the appropriate Earthworm Jim directory (in my case, .wine/drive_cd/Program\ Files/GOG.com/Earthworm\ Jim\ 1\ and\ 2/Earthworm\ Kim). From there, run DOSBOX with the configuration file.
dosbox -conf EWJ1.conf
Ditto EWJ2.
