I press pause, put in the "cheats" off of lists, but they don't work at all. Is anyone else having this problem with Earthworm Jim 1?

Ok, time has passed, but occasional newcomers might need this
- all the passwords and cheat codes within "goodies" section are working: look for the GOG game guide PDF book, which is very well done (wonder if GOG is doing them anymore?*sigh*)
- cheats: press pause in game, digit them with SPACES included
- find more in-level passwords here:
