Drakon: Well the problem is that there are 139 new creatures, 200 new spells not to mention new events and misc(like new races). descriptions. So it'll require a LOT of cleaning. Though I agree that's a valid point about Machine Translation.

If I start this project I'll start with names for new creatures(139), spells(200) and items(255). As for the descriptions I can put them into the Google Translator partially
do it man, start the project as you will have tremendous support here at gog for sure including myself.
Well, right now I'm waiting for the mods author to tell me if there was any translation done, maybe it'll spare me some time if it was.

I also don't promise translating all the descriptions and events but I can check cleaned Machine Translation, so it would sound the same as the Russian equivalent.
Count with me as well. BTW 3-4 days ago they released new version of New Horizon - so maybe we should chcek the diferences between 2 months old version and new one if someone started to translate old one.

Well, I wouldn't call 21_04_2013 a two month old version :) I already played it and now I'm commenting on the ballance. They added a pretty cool low level creature called hnara, which is a bone dog, with almost no health but can scare the crap out everyone and is dexterious, which means that you won't retaliate. Problem is that a pack of these guys can scare even a dragon.

I meant a version from february for 1st translation. Maybe we should start only with new one.
I have just finished all creature names which was the most simple thing to do and I stumbled apon some questions. I'm going to create a separate thread on Drunken Drugon Pub forums(the biggest Eador fan community), cause I don't like GOG's forum engine plus maybe some English speaking guys from Russian community could help there.

But right now I want to ask about name format

Right now they look like in Russian text

Elf-swordsman
Elf-horseman
Elf-druid
Lizardman-archer
Lizardman-shaman
Lizardman-sentinel
Lizardman-champion
Lizardman-spellcaster and etc.

I can make them look like this

Gnoll Sergeant
Gnoll Archer
Gnoll Chieftain

So which format should I follow?
