I bought dying light just today and the game hasn't successfully launched once, to remedy this i have done the following
verified the game files
uninstalled and reinstalled the game
set the exe for windows 7 compatibility
tried using geforce experience to force the game open in windowed mode
uninstalled and re-installed direct x and several other related programs
set a preferred graphics card with the nvidia control panel
installed an older version of the opening cinematic and tried running the game as such
tried to adjust the dpi settings but was unable to change the forced settings
running the game as admin
reset 3d setting in nvida control panel
updated drivers (they were already up to date)
restarted computer
my specs are good enough to run the game on high settings without issue
Intel Core i7-1065G7 4 Core, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q, 13.3" FHD 1080p 60Hz, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD
Ive put the crash report bellow just to see if anyone can find an overt problem
All in all this is pretty fucking sad to say the least, ive never had a newer game with a budget like dying light just up and not launch at all especially with the off sale price of the game being 60 usd.
